PFA Tube Tolerance:
PFA and PTFE are fluoropolymers that share similar characteristics in terms of chemical resistance,temperature range,mechanical properties,and optical clarity.Both materials are widely used in various applications due to their exceptional properties.One key difference is that PFA tubing does not cold flow,meaning it does not deform or change shape at low temperatures.This makes it a better choice for applications where dimensional stability is important.
Additionally,PFA has superior mechanical properties,including higher tensile strength and impact resistance.It also has much lower gas diffusion through its wall,which makes it an excellent choice for applications where gas permeability is a concern.
PFA Feature:
- Use temperature of 500 F(~260 C)equal to PTFE and 50 F higher than FEP
